1. Buying & Selling Policy

• Identification: In accordance with state and federal laws, all clients selling gold, diamonds, or watches must provide a valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or State ID).

• Valuations: All offers are based on current market spot prices for precious metals and the current secondary market value for gemstones and luxury timepieces.

• Payouts: We offer immediate payment upon agreement of sale. Payment methods include cash, check, or wire transfer, depending on the transaction size and client preference.

2. Sales & Returns

• Final Sale: Due to the fluctuating nature of the precious metals market, all sales of bullion, gold coins, and scrap gold are final.

• Jewelry Returns: Fine jewelry and luxury watches may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in its original, unworn condition with all original packaging, certificates (GIA, etc.), and receipts.

• Custom Orders: Custom-designed pieces and altered/resized jewelry are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

 

3. Consignment Services

• Alper Jewelry offers consignment for high-value diamonds and rare luxury timepieces.

• All consigned items are fully insured while in our possession.

• Consignment fees and terms are negotiated on a per-item basis and outlined in a formal Consignment Agreement.

 

4. Appraisals & Repairs

• Appraisals: Professional appraisals for insurance or estate purposes are available by appointment.

• Repairs: We are not responsible for stones that crack or break during the repair process if they possess inherent inclusions or previous damage. Clients will be notified of any risks prior to the commencement of work.

• Unclaimed Items: Repairs or custom orders left for more than 90 days after notification of completion may be subject to storage fees or liquidated to cover the cost of labor and materials.

 

5. Privacy & Security

• Your privacy is paramount. All transactions are kept strictly confidential.

• Our premises are under 24/7 high-definition video surveillance for the safety of our staff, our clients, and our inventory.
